Cali Brand Pilgrim Soul Secures $2M During Seeding Round

According to a press release on Yahoo Finance, Pilgrim Soul, a national cannabis lifestyle brand that emphasizes creative performance enhancement, recently announced that it secured a $2M strategic seed round from some top retail, tech, and cannabis investors. The round’s investments include Bee House, Meaningful Partners, Merida Capital Holdings, serial entrepreneur and Skip-Hop found Michal Diament, and other tech entrepreneurs.

Veteran NBA player and Viola Brands founder Al Harrington is also acting as a brand advisor and equity holder, as is Merlin Kauffman, the founder of Soothe, and Ann Watson, former Sperry & Club Monaco CMO.

Since Pilgrim Soul’s inception in 2020, it has brought in$5.8M in revenue with its creative curriculum. The Pilgrim Soul Creative Thinking Journals have allowed it to become one of the top 500 best-selling books on Amazon. Not to mention, the brand has an expanding database of over 250,000 consumers who like to use cannabis for creativity and has been given a Clio Award due to its innovative cannabis packaging.

Last year, the company released its line of Live Resin Vape Pens. These feature some of its exclusive blends of creative cannabis strains. The products are now available at many top cannabis retail operations throughout California, including Sweet Flower and MedMen.

Pilgrim Soul has also partnered with AbstraxLabs to analyze 100+ strains that offer creative characteristics, as well as secondary and tertiary states of mind. Once they identified each of the strains’ common cannabinoid and terpene profiles, they got to work developing blends of select strains with a focus on enhancing several types of creative thinking, including Creative Imagination, Creative Focus, Creative Reflection, and Creative Awareness.
