Chicago’s Cresco Labs to Sell Sonoma County Craft Canna-Products Outside of Cali

As one way to share California cannabis culture with the rest of the country, Cresco Labs has launched the FloraCal Farms product line in Illinois. This Sonoma County-produced cannabis flower, vapes, and other cannabis products are now available at Sunnyside dispensaries in Illinois.

FloraCal Farms was started by Karen and Drew Duval. The husband-and-wife team oversees the cultivation and commercial sales of this operation. But originally, Origin House purchased FloraCal Farms in 2017 before Cresco Labs bought the Origin House distributor in 2020.

“We’re excited. FloraCal was only available in California before,” Cresco Labs spokesman Jason Erkes told North Bay Business Journal.

This is a great way to show other states what California’s cannabis culture is all about!

Illinois legalized adult-use cannabis in 2018, but the state has been slow to get its recreational program off the ground. However, things are starting to move forward – and Cresco Labs is helping to lead the charge.
